The HP and Defense IVs allows Archaludon to take a Close Combat from a +1 Zacian after one layer of spikes, and 124 speed allows it to outspeed Palafin. Archaludon requires rain to be at its fullest potential, which makes Pelipper the ideal partner with it's access to Drizzle and U-turn to pivot Archaludon into the game.
